C4L Dinner - “Spectacular”

When I think of the Cities 4 Life banquet that was held Friday night [January 20th] at the Embassy Suites in Concord, one word comes to mind - spectacular.

The hotel was beautiful; the room was huge; there were balloons, booths, awesome videos, great speakers, delicious food and fancy clothes. And did I mention the HUGE piece of cheesecake? Oh yes, that was spectacular! I had never been to an event like that before and it made me feel pretty special to be a part of it.

But what I really thought was spectacular was the big picture God was showing us. His people, who are called by His name, had humbled themselves and prayed, sought His face and turned from their wicked ways and God was going to heal their land from abortion.

It was spectacular to see God bringing together the parts and pieces He’s using to accomplish that; from large organizations and churches to small ministries and even families. It is always wonderful to be a part of anything God does, and I’m so glad I was at the dinner!

If you were there, you were witnessing His work, then you know He always needs more workers. If you are not currently active in part of this ministry, I challenge you to stand up and get involved. Certainly everyone there left with the same feeling that I had. Let’s do something to bring Life to our city!

Cities4Life Frontline Training Sessions

You know you want to share your faith. You know the sick need a doctor. You know there are hurting people who are stumbling ‘toward the slaughter’ (Proverbs 24:11). Are you ready to Proclaim? Are you ready to Pray? Are you ready to Protect?

We were exhorted to be 100% awake at the 2nd annual Cities4Life dinner. We saw the Lord move the very next morning out at the abortion mill. That first-time-fear is gone. Let’s get prepared and head into this war straight on!

Cities4Life is providing a Frontline Ministry Training Session February 10th and 11th. Similar to our training stations at the abortion mill, we will focus primarily on sidewalk counseling.

Topics Covered Include:

*How to assemble and distribute literature
*How to approach a vehicle and talk to an abortion-minded woman
*How to most effectively minister on the microphone
*What resources to offer
*How to best follow up long-term

There will also be a special training session specific to evangelizing at the abortion mill.

Please join us and catch the excitement of what the Lord is doing. Remember, He only asks for a willing heart. Let Him prepare you for the good works He has for you to do. Let’s fan this gift of LIFE into flames!

A small miracle for those with big faith!

There have been countless times where I’ve seen my children use the power of prayer at the abortion mill, when we are ministering as a family. We are training them to rise up and “set an example” for other believers (1 Timothy 4:12) and to “live a Godly life in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3). Because of that training, we should expect to see this fruit come forth from their godly actions, right? So, why is it that I am so surprised when God answers their prayers at the mill? Why am I so shocked when I see something only God can do - time and again - happen right before my eyes? I have “little faith”, while my children’s/teen’s faith is a faith that can move small mountains!

This past summer, while ministering at the abortion clinic, our children prayed for ungodly music to stop that was being played by an abortion-minded father in order to drown us out and discourage those who were reaching out to these women. Within 2 minutes of the children starting to pray, the music started fading in and out. Then, it STOPPED completely - all within 4 minutes. Immediately after they received that miracle, did they stop? No! They turned their prayers in the direction of the bodyguards who are meant to distract us and keep us drowned out with their rap music. Within minutes of their prayers, their music, too, went in and out and stopped for a time. This was not the only time that this would happen, either!

Trey (above - at the time, told me that he was going to pray that the bodyguard’s sound system would break down when they were playing some nasty rap music. I told him that was great, but me being “oh ye of little faith” thought it was a sweet, but somewhat childish request. Not 5 minutes later, the bouncer’s car broke down and needed to be jumped by the other bouncer! It was off for a solid 15 minutes or so. After seeing my shocked reaction, Trey responded with, “Well, that *is* what I prayed for, Mommy!” To have a child-like faith like that…wow!

Today was no different. As we were ministering to mamas going in with the intentions of having their babies killed, another abortion-minded father with two toddlers in the car decided to open his doors and play some foul music. I motioned to the children what was going on and they quickly came over to kneel on the sidewalk and pray, with hands lifted toward this father. Sure enough, not seconds later, the music faded in and out and the father turned it off! As before, they directed their prayers to the bouncers, whose music started doing the same thing! The only thing another mama and I could say was, “JESUS!” His presence was there! The results of our children’s prayers were evident to all present! All we could utter was Jesus’ Holy name!

Are you acting on your faith?

Matthew 8:26 “And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

Shutdown!

The three abortion mills owned by Dr. Schnider are temporarily closed! None of the mills are performing abortions this week. Though the exact reason of the closing has not been determined, we are suspecting that significant concerns have been brought to the attention of law enforcement, as there were plain clothes policemen at A Preferred Women’s Health Center in Charlotte on Tuesday.

The Charlotte and Raleigh locations of A Preferred Women’s Health Center are closed until MONDAY at NOON! The Augusta, Georgia location has been closed until WEDNESDAY!

PRAISE JESUS!

Even though the Charlotte abortion mill was closed for the day, we still went out to speak to the women who showed up and could not get into the building because of the locked doors. There were still women in the parking lot 45 minutes after their scheduled appointment while the bouncers played their music and the staff smoked cigarettes outside the employee entrance. Their desperate situations made them stay in hopes that someone would unlock the doors to the abortion mill. Because other area abortion mill owners are aware of the typical procedures regarding patients after a forced closure of the clinic, one abortion mill owner drove over in her brand new Lexus to have her nurse approach the patients in their cars, telling about their mill’s abortion services. They shared of how much better they care for their patients and how close their abortion mill was located to this mill until staff members from A Preferred Women’s Health Center came out to tell them to leave because it was “their [place of] business”. When other sharks smell blood in the water, they circle and move in just as one would expect! This business is like any other, except that their services result in the paid death of innocent babies.

Thankfully, we were able to hand out literature to 2 of the 7 women who came. One woman left looking very concerned about the situation of the closed offices and eagerly took the literature while the other young girl left crying. We are praying that both of them will choose life for their babies! PRAY that many lives will be spared during this time that the mills are closed and that this investigation reveals the darkness behind those evil doors!
