Cities4Life team and friends, please keep an urgent matter before you in prayer. A pregnant mama took the abortion drug, RU-486, this past Saturday at an abortion mill in Charlotte. She has now changed her mind and does not want to go through with the abortion, but wants to SAVE her BABY!
She contacted the Abortion Pill Reversal Line and was referred to the Charlotte Pregnancy Resource Center, who then contacted Lisa Metzger, from our leadership team. Lisa then contacted Dr. Matt Harrison, medical director on the Cities4Life leadership team. You may recall the story Charlotte Cities4Life posted on our blog in December, featuring Dr. Harrison and the story surrounding the first successful reversal of the RU-486. If you missed that story, you can find read it here.
Dr. Harrison will be meeting late this afternoon with the pregnant mom to start the process of attempting to reverse the effects of the RU-486. So far, we do know that the baby is 9 weeks along and has a confirmed heartbeat. Please pray that the Lord would guide and direct Dr. Harrison, that the baby would be saved and that this regretful mom will find hope and peace in Jesus Christ. More details to follow.
