David and Lori Benham

davidfamily Since 1998, David & Lori have served together in the pro-life movement in areas such as sidewalk counseling, community awareness, fundraising, church life networking, political support, and establishing the Cities4Life™ movement. David, whose father is a national pro-life leader, has witnessed everything that works and doesn’t work in the pro-life movement.  As a young boy in growing up in Dallas, TX, his family was directly involved with the salvation of Jane Roe (Norma McCorvey) of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court Decision.  David has personally been involved in every aspect of the pro-life movement, and his comprehensive vision ties each moving part of this movement together through his service on the Cities4Life leadership team.

David & Lori have five children:  Bailey, Ty, Ella, Ava, & Chase.  Their family company, the Benham Companies, currently provides significant funding to Cities4Life.

WHY Cities4Life

“Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people dwell together in unity.”  For so long the pro-life movement has functioned in a fragmented disunity of parts, while each moving part truly needs the other.  Cities4Life recognizes and unites each moving part and garners support for it from the Body of Christ.  From front lines support, to medical assistance, to adoption services, to baby showers, Cities4Life unites them all together for the common purpose of Life.”

Daniel and Courtney Parks

Daniel & Courtney ParksDaniel and Courtney Parks have been involved in pro-life ministry together for over 10 years.  With a heart for evangelism, Daniel has been serving on the front lines of pro-life outreach since 2005. He has been faithfully leading ministry teams on the sidewalks of Charlotte’s busiest abortion mill for over a decade. He is also co-pastor of Christ Fellowship in Davidson, and has served there since 2008. Courtney has been a Registered Nurse for 13 years; she is trained in limited obstetrical ultrasound, a skill she uses to minister to abortion minded women on the mobile medical unit for the past 3 years. Her desire is that mommies will see the LIFE in their womb, through the use of ultrasound.

Together with their 7 children – Kyla, Andrew, Lily, Henry, Abigail, Bethany, and William – they serve and seek to encourage families to live out Proverbs 31:8-9, “Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.  Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”

 WHY Cities4Life™

“Many Christians have a desire to get involved in the pro-life movement, but don’t know how to put what’s in their heart into action. Through training, practical tools and support, Cities4Life empowers and equips them to do just that.  Also, as a young couple we found ourselves in a crisis pregnancy situation as teenage parents. We know firsthand how vital it is to connect these mothers in desperate situations to the practical help they need. The Life Network connects those ministries and resources to the women who need them the most.”

Robbie and Jeannette Wilson

As a family, the Wilsons feel called to evangelize and disciple.  They are able to do this from their home, at their church, and on the sidewalks in robbiefamilyfront of one of the local abortion centers where they minister Truth, hope and encouragement to hurting women.

Married young, Robbie and Jeannette have enjoyed maturing in the Lord together. When God began adding to the family, the opportunities to serve included their entire family. The Wilson children are Theresa, Caroline, Joshua, Stephen, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Andrew. The family has lived and served their savior Jesus Christ in Charlotte for 20 years.

WHY Cities4Life

“It is a privilege and honor to serve within the pro-life community in Charlotte. There are so many believers with God’s heart for the unborn and the lost. We are excited about the vision of Cities4Life to link these various ministries, families and individuals together. And we are thrilled to be a part of the front-line ministry aspect of Cities4Life, right there on the sidewalk.”
